The finals of Salthill/Knocknacarra's annual Hurling/Camogie Street Leagues, sponsored by Ardilaun Hotel, took place on Wednesday last 19th May in the Prairie. Overall the street league was an outstanding success. Approx 150 young hurlers and Camogie players participated each week for a 4 week period, each and everyone giving their all for the pride of their "Street".
